Candidates must present a case for funding that meets ODAA’s requirements. Applicants will need to demonstrate the problem and how they plan to solve it using the available data. ODAA can provide funding to a maximum of $100,000 per project and will identify knowledge gaps to address the issues facing industry, government, and stakeholders. The RFP process is as follows:

  1. ADP will issue Challenges that identify industry and/or government needs with the intent that proposals include the use of ODAA data. Unsolicited proposals will also be accepted
  2. Interested proponents will submit a proposal online using the form on the ODAA website. The Steering Committee will review proposals on a regular basis.
  3. The Steering Committee may accept or reject the proposals. They may also ask the proponent to provide more information, fine-tune their approach, or make other changes to better fit ODAA requirements.

Preference will be given to those proposals that leverage funding from other government or industry sources.
